Kota | 2–4 Jan 2026
Rajasthan’s Hadoti region drew domestic tourism buyers to a travel mart in Kota in January 2026. The event offered a platform to reposition a part of the state that can be overlooked beside the familiar forts and palaces of the western tourism circuit. ADTOI office-bearers were reported among attendees, but a named public source does not yet establish Ved Khanna’s personal participation.
Four districts with a different Rajasthan narrative
Kota, Bundi, Baran and Jhalawar collectively offer palace architecture, carved stepwells, painted heritage, natural landscapes and local cultural experiences. The product opportunity is to create journeys that hold together as a coherent route, rather than scatter attractions across an impractical schedule.
A travel mart can support that work by connecting accommodation providers, local destination managers and buyers who send travellers from other states. To identify Khanna as a particular delegate or speaker, the event’s attendance list, stage programme or original photos are still needed.
What remains to be established about the delegation
The Hadoti initiative also connects with an earlier Delhi roadshow entered in the personal event diary. The relationship between the two programmes should be documented without assuming that attendance at one proves attendance at the other.
Hadoti’s distinct identity within Rajasthan
This draft focuses on the actual destination-development context until his personal role can be authenticated.
This event is included in Ved Khanna’s unpublished research archive pending original programme, photographs or independent confirmation of his individual role.
Industry experience and travel enterprise
Alongside his national association responsibilities, Ved Khanna is identified in ADTOI’s member directory as Managing Director of Tourwala Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., a Delhi-based domestic travel company. His experience in selling real journeys helps explain the commercial questions raised by destination promotion: access, dependable local partners, accurate itineraries and traveller expectations. The work described above was undertaken in his ADTOI capacity; it was not a government appointment or exclusive commercial assignment for Tourwala. Read more about his travel ventures.
